Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship

Become a clinical, academic and research expert in pediatric emergency medicine at the region's only pediatric Level I trauma center and burn unit in Virginia's only freestanding children's hospital.

What sets us apart?

Serve a population of over 2 million as a pediatric emergency physician in Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters' Emergency Department, which receives more than 50,000 annual visits.

Fellows can gain international experience, train in simulation and ultrasound, publish and present research with our active research teams and earn advanced degrees and certificates at no additional cost while completing training. Graduate as a stronger educator, physician, administrator and researcher, with the option to continue post-fellowship training in our International Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Simulation in Medical Education fellowships.
