What Our Residents Say...

Max Jean

It was an easy decision for me to come to the University of Rochester Medical School for my residency. One of the biggest deciding factors for me was the collegial and supportive environment that I witnessed. I felt right at home and the residents genuinely seemed happy. Furthermore, they had great rapport with faculty members, nursing and ancillary staff (EEG techs, therapists, etc). Additionally, residents are strongly encouraged to mold change in this program to optimize both learning and resident wellness. Lastly, I can tell you that my co-residents are just amazing people and we hang out quite often in the beautiful city of Rochester.

What Our Alumni Say

Andrea Wasilewski

“My goal for choosing a residency program was to find a program that would allow me to become a highly skilled neurologist. I found that and so much more within the University of Rochester neurology residency and Neuro-oncology fellowship program.  The combination of clinical expertise, patient volume, diversity of disease and strong tradition and emphasis on education provided me with an incredible foundation for my career. This foundation coupled with unparalleled support and opportunities for internal and external leadership have prepared me well for my current positions.  I am immensely grateful for the education, mentorship and friendship I experienced while at the University of Rochester!”
